@Captain24 i've heard that resin's quite hard to work with, and for your first few trials to come out like that is pretty amazing!! the swirly blue-green looks catches my eyes

That was my first go at coloured @rav3n. I did it wrong so they didn’t turn out properly but I think I have a better idea now. I want to do placemats but it works out quite expensive so I’ll need to wait a bit. You need special resin for it. Plus I need a lot more mixing containers. Just not sure where to find them. But I’m going to spotlight in a couple of weeks so I’ll have a look there.

oh resin placemats would be super cool!! @Captain24 that's great that you've learnt so much from just a few trials, sucks that it's quite expensive though. do you have an inspiration pic or idea of how those placemats will look?

I have an image in my head but not sure if it’ll turn out that way! @rav3n. I’ll try some other cheaper ways first and learn how to do it better. It’s a lot of mess though. Just it’s really messy!

oh yeah that's good idea to practice on cheaper material! @Captain24 i can imagine what a mess it must make, do you work on it outside your home?

Nah the last ones I did I did on the dining room table. You have to put plastic down though. It needs to be at a certain temperature @rav3n
