Re: Tabalugas

How old is your house @Oaktree ?

Mine is 50 years old - An ex Public Housing house (area).

No previous owners had ever fixed, replaced or updated anything (at all).

It was very run-down in 2002.

Now I think I have a Roof leak, like your (water runs down wall in Toilet room).

I had to fix & replace virtually everything, from the moment I moved in.

Even the Hot Water System didn't work (no Hot Water) - Had to replace that.

I'm onto my 2nd new Hot water system (already) - The one I had Installed in 2002, went Bung last year.

Re: Tabalugas

@Adge

Compared to yours my house is relatively new - 26 years old. We built it but it was a budget homebuilder so a lot of things have gone wrong with it that insurance is refusing to cover due to poor building standards. We haven't got money to make repairs either so when something major happens it's a problem. We have to rebolt out gas hot water system to the wall as we just noticed that it has come loose. Hopefully that will be alright until the tax cheque comes.
