Re: Newbie's Social Club - Come make some friends!

@GezzaP @heartathome

I dug up some volunteer potatoes this afternoon. I didn’t plant them this year, they came up from last year’s crop. Must have missed a few. Nice bonus anyway…

Re: Newbie's Social Club - Come make some friends!

@Oaktree That’s cool volunteer spuds. I’ve got some tomatoes that were planted early but they have survived. Been dozing off and on all day today.

I just planted some young leeks where I dug up the potatoes

Oh cool @Oaktree I’ve also got carrots, chillis and beetroot. Will plant some more veggies soon.

Re: Newbie's Social Club - Come make some friends!

I need to weed the side beds and mix in some straw and compost. I have borlotti beans to plant

Great way to spend your day. I have slways wanted to try that. Woiukd be fun! I love being outside in nature, walking with my dog, Roxy & taking her to the beach. Nature & exercise makes so much difference when you are not feeling well. So hard to get out there some days thoe. 🐶🐾🩵

Re: Newbie's Social Club - Come make some friends!

Hello, thank you for welcoming me in😊

It's lovely to be able to connect with you.

I'm a mother of 4 and have recently undertaken the role of carer for my husband whom sufferers from severe chronic pain and PTSD.

I'm feeling a bit isolated and have had some anxiety as a result of this sudden change in our lives.

I'd love to make some friends who can relate to the situation we're in and hopefully, I'll be able to help others too, along the way
