Re: Good Morning!

@outlander, as a mum who had my first child out of wedlock - yes, it was hard but also wonderful and fulfilling and the best experience of my life. I could have terminated the pregnancy or adopted out, same as your mum, but we didn't, because we love you ❤❤❤

Re: Good Morning!

Oh, you need to start with loving, accepting, forgiving... Yourself. Be your own best friend. What would you say to a close friend who came to you with these words?/you're a caring loving, intelligent creative... ... person Outlander. I think you'd throw your arm around your friend and say 'that's not true!!' I love you! I want you! I'd be lost without you! You are my BFF! . . . Go for a walk, shake of the destructive thoughts. Hugzz! 💜🌷🌿

Re: Good Morning!

it felt that was what my therapist was saying too.
We were talking about family life etc and we ended up getting into my relationship with my mother and how everything is. We got into how her life was when I was born and what happened durin my younger years, she was having the best life going. She had a boyfriend of a few years, she had friends, she would always be able to go horse riding and do heaps of shopping and activities and things. When I came along she lost her bf (my dad) because he didnt want me. She lsot her freedom, she couldnt go out with her friends as much and they were replaced by a screaming kid.
She had a supportive mum and dad who loved her and helped out, she had her own house and work and still went out, one of her closest friends had a kid around the same time too so it wasnt like she was the only one.
I ruined everything. Imagine the good life she would have had without me coming when she was 18 or 19 whichever one it was.

Re: Good Morning!

Hi @outlander

I am not too bad - laid up with a virus and injuries from a fall presently. Climbing the walls but keeping my spirits up. Haven't had a chance to read above messages. Will do though and get back to you, but it doesn't sound like it went too well at all by your last post. Will be back 😊
