@TAB it’s definitely a lifestyle.
I loved having a personal trainer physiotherapist.

yes, got to get back into it re gym w physio @Glisten its free, plus, well why not ? re health, weight etc.
I heard you are looking for accom ?hope you find something. I have a friend in Hocking who is on dole for first time in life and over 55 years,so cant find work. owner charging then pre-covid rates, but agent wants to put it up to market ratewhich is $300/week more. if that happens they will be homeless. they are living onlike $100/wk /80% of income atm ,minus $200 does not compute.
I applied to Homeswest to try and get a bond few years back. they would tellme a different thing everytime I went there.but they refused to give me one in the end because rent was over 60% of my income ... what a stupid set up. in SA, used to apply for bond, and no money changed hands, went to Tribunal.think WA system is a loan that has to be paid off. like 3-4 years ago when in Kelm, place started filling up w homeless, would see tents in national park, idiots off their heads at local coles, another lot living under a bridge, others in showgrounds etc. someone camped out front of library for a week or so. guess had a light for security and garden walls for a windbreak.
The Lucky Country.
Hope you find something soon.

@TAB oddly I’m past caring and quite prepared to live out of my car.
That’s the reality of the situation and I am one of many women in this situation.
My “friends” are so disconnected from the reality of what’s going on, they are under the impression that I’m not trying hard enough, and/or doing life wrong.
They are terrified of not having money and it dictates how “nice” they are to people.

well at least youre prepared mentally @Glisten have you thought about moving to the country or to a caravan park? place I was at had ensuite, big annexe was $310/wk can get cheaper w/o ensuite plus you would get max rent relief fm cenno which like $220 per fortnight now.not ideal , but way above car ? just need bedding and tv if you watch it.
um I also stayed a York inbig motel complex, many dift owners, mostly empty weekdays , i got a a deal for $300/week, lots places will do that if quiet. I got a deal in NSW in summer in beautiful little town
(Denman was the town , in the red on map)

@TAB I only have control over what I do.
I am a statistic. Part of the rapidly rising number of women over the age of 55 who are homeless.
While I inhabit this Judas of a body = meat sack, I’m going to enjoy the sensation of the wind on my face.
Putting my head under the cold water tap 🚰 on a 42* day.
Dig my fingers into the white beach sand and watch it run through my fingers.
Hear Gus the horse cough like a human 😁
Laugh at Teflon people, be a thorn in the side of ignorant disrespectful agency and organisational seat warmers.
Because it’s not all about me.
