2025: New Year, New Beginning

Re: 2025: New Year, New Beginning

Yes the live chats. Are they still a thing? I haven't been to anything in a while and am missing chatting to everyone

Re: 2025: New Year, New Beginning

@tymeyes the live chats

Re: 2025: New Year, New Beginning

I chased it up again with the head of our IT sector @WildFlower1 Still no response yet. Don't worry. I'm chasing it up all the time. I'm just not sure they have a solution for our digital service needs.

The issue with these chats is that because we are an accredited digital mental health service, we have particular criteria we need to adhere to. If we don't, it will affect accrediation and possibly funding.

Hence we are in a bit of a challenging place in that we WANT this service, but with the changes in what is needed, we also need to be continually making changes.

Whatever it is, I'm so glad to see you here @WildFlower1

Re: 2025: New Year, New Beginning

Thank you for chasing it up. That was one of my only social interactions and support groups. What about zoom or teams? I had a book club over zoom that was also a support group. We were doing the pete walker CPTSD book and i was hosting it. It was great but people have seemed to deop off now and it is ending. So without thos amd that group i have nothing left. but thank you for following it up @tyme

Re: 2025: New Year, New Beginning

@WildFlower1 . We've tried zoom and teams and it doesn't work very well because there is this blank screen with just the chat flashing...

At this stage, we are having a 'live' chat just here on the forums. For example, this is Sunday's : https://saneforums.org/t5/Social-space/Social-Chat-15th-June-2025-7-9pm/td-p/1677981
